The eye misses
what matters.

You can watch an athlete jump, land and move all day — and still not see the 20% asymmetry, the dropping rate of force development, or the fatigue building before it becomes an injury. Visual analysis and "feel" got us this far. But the decisions that matter most — when to return an athlete to play, how hard to push, who's ready — are too important to leave to a guess. Objective athlete performance testing closes that gap, and force plate testing is the fastest way to get there.

Set up in minutes. Testing in seconds.

  1. The two PlateMate dual force plates Step 1

    Place the plates

Set the two plates on any flat floor and plug in. No fixed install, no calibration lab — they're ready where you are.

  2. Laptop screen showing ForceMate jump results Step 2

    Open the app

Launch ForceMate, pick a test — countermovement jump, drop jump, isometric — and hand the athlete the cue.

  3. Athlete standing on the two PlateMate plates, ready to jump Step 3

    Run the test

The athlete steps on and jumps. The plates capture ground reaction force hundreds of times a second.

  4. Claes and Ruben reviewing test results on screen Step 4

    Read the results

Jump height, left/right asymmetry, RFD and more land on screen in seconds — ready to act on.

What you can actually measure

PlateMate is a dual force plate system built around portable force plates — light enough to test anywhere, accurate enough for the lab. It measures ground reaction force hundreds of times a second, so one set of force plates replaces a rack of sports performance testing equipment — a whole shelf of sports science equipment — and gives you a full neuromuscular profile in seconds.

Every test type, on one set of plates:

  • Countermovement Jump
  • Drop Jump
  • Squat Jump
  • Countermovement Rebound Jump
  • Pogo Jumps
  • Isometrics
  • Balance
  • Movements

What our customers say

Portable PlateMate force plates set up for sports science testing at Rua Laboratories

Featured case — Rua Laboratories

The 20% no one could see.

An ACL athlete seven months post-op looked perfectly symmetrical on video. The plates didn't agree.

“On landing, peak force asymmetry hit 20% on initial contact — for a split second. We'd never have caught it without the plates. It showed the athlete wasn't ready to return.”

“In the past 2 years, we have been using CC Athletics equipment on 200+ football players a week across Denmark, Egypt, and Ghana, to make data informed decisions about load monitoring, training, and rehab.”
Lasse Ishøj, FC Nordsjælland
Lasse Ishøj PhD, Head of Sport and Data Science, FC Nordsjælland, Denmark · 2025
“I see PlateMate as an additional element that has helped attract more clients who want to take the next step in their training and gain insights into weaknesses they would not be able to identify on their own.”
Emil Marais Elm Fysioterapi · June 2026
“First of all the build quality of force plates is really great. Software is user friendly, organized, easy to use and very smooth.”
Martin Babinec S&C trainer, Slovakia · 2025
“The whole platform is very user-friendly and intuitive and runs very stably on a day-to-day basis. CC Athletics constantly update and improve their ForceMate software and are very open to client feedback and ideas for new features. I highly recommend CC Athletics to fellow S&C coaches who want objective data to improve the quality of their work!”

Own your plates.
Own your data.
Pay once.

Most force-plate platforms lock you into a subscription — you pay every month, forever, and you never actually own the equipment or the data it produces. PlateMate is the opposite. One purchase. No monthly fees. Your plates and your athlete data are yours, full stop.

  • No subscription, ever — pay once, use forever.
  • Your data stays yours — full export, no lock-in, no platform holding it hostage.
  • A real asset, not a recurring bill — it's equipment you own, not a line item that renews forever.

Claes leading athlete performance testing on PlateMate force plates

Lab-grade testing your competitors can't offer.

Most coaches and physios still work off the eye and feel alone. PlateMate lets you offer something they can't: objective, lab-grade performance testing — the kind of service athletes will pay a premium for, and the kind that makes them stay. It's not just better data; it's a new line of business you own outright.

  • Stand out — premium testing packages set you apart from every "looks good to me" competitor in your market.
  • Charge for it — turn assessments, screenings and re-tests into a paid service.
“The force plates were the second major device I purchased, and they honestly helped take the business to a whole new level. Having access to high-quality force plate data allowed me to offer a more complete sports science service from very early on — it helped me stand out from competitors and create more advanced testing packages. That has been a big part of helping Rua Laboratories bring around 200 people into the lab in its first year.”
